The Temporary Closures tab allows you to view all closure dates and hours, as well as create a new temporary closure for your restaurant. If you know you’ll be closed on an upcoming holiday, or your restaurant is closed for a private event, please be sure to create a temporary closure here. This tool is useful for temporary changes in business hours only; for permanent hours changes, please contact Caviar for assistance.
Note: If there are active orders scheduled to be picked up during an upcoming closure, you must contact Caviar Support via the “Request Support” button on the iPad.
Provide the following information for the upcoming closure:
- Start Date
- Start Time
- End Date
- End Time
After the temporary closure is created, track all upcoming (and historical) closures from the main menu. If you created a temporary closure in the dashboard, you can cancel the closure at any time by clicking on the “Remove” button.
You can also enable self-disabling via iPad in your Caviar Dashboard Profile. Check the box marked "Allow closing for the day in app" on the Dashboard, and a "Taking New Orders" on/off switch will appear in-app under the "Prep Time" button.
